Inspiring: startup story comes out of refugee camp

Here’s a great article I came across while visiting the website of dutch startup accelerator Rockstart.com. The original article is from The Guardian.

It’s a story of a young boy, Mohammed Bashir Sheik, escaped from Somalia and is now one of the residents of a refugee camp in Kenya.

Sheik’s strengthens the belief that setting up a startup is driven more by desire and passion than ability and circumstances. Those that complain about the environment not being ‘startup friendly’ might learn a thing or two from Sheik’s inspiring story.
